Personally I wont believe that this is finally over till the gate drops for the first time!!! A HUGE THANK YOU needs to go out to Jim Gabriel, Chris Barlow, and even little Amelia Turner! They have put their lives on hold to make sure that the track was done not only in a timely manner but to make sure that it will be a top notch race facility! I know that all three of them have dedicated in the area of 40+ hours a week for the last month or so! This rebuild will hopefully bring our track to the regional if not national level and provide our riders with a top notch facility that will help improve them at these levels as well. Once again, if anyone sees Jim, Chris, or Amelia walking around, please stop them, shake their hand, and give them a HUGE THANK YOU!! This huge undertaking could not have taken place without them!! |

We were there for Friday,Saturday and Sunday. Everyone that runs the track as well as the ones who race weekly at the track are among the friendliest people we've met doing the BMX thing! We will for sure make the trip for your sunday race dates! All your volunteers worked their butts off and it was appreciated. I just wanted to make one suggestion. If you ever wanted to make one improvement over any other track.. I would suggest buying a cheap counting board that someone could click and change what moto was currently being run. Not just this weekend but the last few bigger races we've been to as well as some of the locals that had quite a few motos..you had riders running all over the place and asking what moto they were on etc. Nothing fancy but that would be an awesome addition to any track. You could possibly attatch it to the front of your announcers tower or something. Just a suggestion. Thanks again. |
